Where it started

Our Beginnings

I started my reef journey in 2019. I had always wanted a saltwater fish tank. At the time i have no idea that people grew corals in their homes. while doing research i discovered that you could have a reef in your living room and i was hooked. I struggled just like ever other hobbyist, i bleached coral, and watched them shrivel to nothingness. I never wanted to give up on my dream of becoming a reef keeper. so, i kept researching and learning.

Growth

As most hobbyist, i dreamt of a bigger tank and it didn't take long to get one. In about 6 months i had a 65 gallon tank that my wife gifted to me for Christmas.

With stable water parameters and patience my tank took off.

Today

From early on i wanted to make an impact in this hobby and i finally found the courage to start Only Frags. i believe reefers are what's going to save these delicate species from extinction.

i just want to say, if you're out there reading this and you feel like you can't have a successful reef tank, I believe in you.

What i have learned over the years is that stable water parameters is the biggest thing that holds reefers back. Once you figure that out, this becomes so easy to do.

This tank is sadly taken down, i decided to start over because we were moving to a new house. I think I'm going to jump into the the Acro rabbit hole so keep an eye out for that on IG.
